my country's manufacturing industry is facing many practical problems such as the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure, the continuous increase of labor costs, the shortage of labor structure and low-end labor-intensive manufacturing enterprises, and a large number of industrial robots are urgently needed.

This year's major national science and technology projects will focus on supporting machine tools and robots, and will focus on promoting the application of automated workshops in six industries such as ships, automobile engines, aerospace, aviation, and civil explosives.

In recent years, my country's shipbuilding industry has accelerated the establishment of a modern shipbuilding model, as well as the pace of innovation in new-generation digital technologies such as big data, cloud computing, and mobile Internet, and artificial intelligence technologies.

In shipbuilding enterprises, there are more and more applications of welding and painting robots. Domestic brands such as welding robots from Shanghai Ship Technology Research Institute and coating robots from Chongqing Changjiang Coating Equipment Co., Ltd. have been widely recognized by domestic shipping companies. "In 2013, my country purchased 36,000 robots, surpassing Japan for the first time and becoming the world's largest robot market. However, only 9,000 domestic robots were sold, accounting for 24% of the total sales, and most of them were low-end industrial robots. "Robot industry research expert Luo Baihui believes that although my country's industrial robot industry has a certain number of robot manufacturing enterprises and integration enterprises, there have been some breakthroughs in core components such as RV reducers and servo electrical controllers. Other fields have also been applied to a certain extent, but the original innovation ability is insufficient, the industrial upgrading is incomplete, and the industrial agglomeration ability is still relatively weak, and there are many disadvantages.

Due to advances in technology, flexibility, quality, cost reduction, and reliability, global robot sales have maintained an average annual growth rate of 14% in recent years. In 2013, nearly 180,000 industrial robots were sold worldwide. Robots, bringing the global industrial robot ownership to 1.4 million units. In Luo Baihui's view, China has maintained a high growth rate of 36%, much higher than Germany's 9%, South Korea's 8% and Japan's 6%. Among them, automobiles, electronic products, metallurgy, chemical plastics, rubber and other industries are the industries that use the most robots in China, but the current density of robots per 10,000 workers is still relatively low. In the next few years, with the continuous improvement of industry needs and labor costs, the growth potential of China's robot market will be huge.

Japan Robot Association Sakakihara Shinsuke pointed out that in recent years, Japan's robot exports have gradually declined, and domestic sales have increased slightly. Among the exported robots, Asia accounted for the largest proportion. Last year, the proportion of robots exported from Japan to Asia accounted for 51.3% of the total exports, more than doubled from 2011. Whether it is for export or domestic sales, the sales of articulated robots are the best. In 2013, the sales of articulated robots in Japan accounted for nearly 70% of the total sales.

Chul HuePark, president of the Korea Robot Industry Promotion Association, said that the Korean government has attached great importance to the development of the robot industry for a long time. In 2003, the Korean government identified the robot industry as the next-generation development engine. In 2008, the Korean National Assembly passed a series of bills on the development of robots, which promoted the comprehensive development of the Korean robot industry.

At present, South Korea has more than 30 robotics research institutions, with a total of more than 10,000 employees working in more than 400 robotics companies. The South Korean government invests large sums of money in robotics research every year. From 2011 to 2013, the South Korean government has invested 72 million US dollars to fund several robotics projects.

For the future development of the robotics industry, McKinsey & Company made a prediction not long ago. By 2025, the output value created by the application of robots in the manufacturing service industry will be 1.7 trillion to 4.5 trillion US dollars. The robot industry has become a strategic emerging industry that is highly concerned by countries all over the world.

At present, many robot manufacturers and countries have stepped up their layout and seized the highest point of technology and market. In 2009, the United States formulated a framework for revitalizing the U.S. manufacturing industry, clearly requiring the development of industrial robots, revitalizing the U.S. manufacturing industry, and developing a new generation of robots based on mobile internet technology. Japan has also formulated a long-term development strategy for robotics, making the robotics industry one of the seven key industries. Europe has proposed a roadmap for the European robotics sector, along with the Spark initiative, a collaboration between the European Commission and the European Robotics Association.

Sakakihara Shinsuke said that on June 24 this year, Japan promulgated a new robot development strategy "Future Challenge", proposing to develop more robots to deal with the shortage of skilled operators. Robot applications and opportunities. hulHuePark said that South Korea has formulated a robot development plan for 2020, focusing on the development of post-disaster rescue robots, factory robots, household and medical robots, and hopes that the robot market output value will reach 25 billion US dollars by 2020, becoming a major pillar industry in South Korea.

my country attaches great importance to the development of the robot industry. At the end of 2013, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Guiding Opinions on the Healthy Development of the Robot Industry". In March this year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held another summit to promote the development of the robot industry. As my country moves from a manufacturing power to a manufacturing power, the demand for robots has also shown an explosive trend.

To achieve current and future goals, MIIT has identified several main tasks:

The first is to significantly improve the R&D level and innovation capability of industrial robot technology, and develop the core technology of robots according to the needs of key fields such as ships, electronics, and national defense and military industries; conquer the technology of key components and form productivity, so that innovative resources and elements can be effectively used. The convergence and in-depth cooperation have significantly narrowed the gap with developed countries.

The second is to cultivate industrial agglomeration, establish an industrial layout with industrial robot host enterprises and system integration as the traction, and the coordinated development of parts and components, vigorously develop key enterprises, and form industrial clusters with strong competitiveness. At the same time, in terms of industrial layout, it is necessary to guide the industrial development trend and scale of various localities, make scientific plans, adapt measures to local conditions, and orderly promote the regional differentiation of industrial robots. In addition, it is necessary to realize the demonstration application of self-owned brand robots in logistics, national defense and military industries, transform and upgrade traditional industries, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, ensure safe production, and promote industrial upgrading in the industrial field.

It is necessary to formulate a number of key technical standards and key application standards to fully meet the standard system required by the robot industry; establish and improve public service platforms such as industrial robot design, research and development, testing, testing, verification, certification and accreditation, and establish third-party testing and certification. system; strengthen the international cooperation and exchange of industrial robot technology, break through the new technologies brought by the common technology of intelligent core robots and the intersection of disciplines; guide domestic enterprises and advantageous enterprises to carry out research and development cooperation, and realize the globalization of my country's robot technology.

The state will increase financial support for the robot industry. This year, robot development projects for the development and production of special machine tools have been arranged. At the same time, increase the promotion of robot application demonstration in ships, aircraft, civil explosives, sensors, instruments and other manufacturing industries, and improve the intelligence level of the manufacturing process.
