A torque limiter is a protective device. When the torque caused by the vibration of the machine load, overload or machine failure exceeds the set value, it limits the torque transmitted by the transmission system in a sliding manner, and automatically engages after the overload situation disappears, and there is no need to set the torque limit again. The device prevents damage to the machine and avoids costly downtime. Torsion limiters use spring-loaded friction surfaces to adjust the spring force with a nut or bolt to preset its sliding torque.

The TL series torque limiter can be used as the central component of the sprocket, gear, sheave or flange plate, sandwiched between its friction plates, and different torque settings can be obtained by adjusting the nut on the side of the torque limiter. Method of choosing

1. Determine the required sliding torque from the load conditions or the set strength of the machine. If the load conditions of the machine are unknown, set the sliding torque of the torque limiter to 1.5-2 times the torque value generated by the motor related to the mounting shaft.

2. Please select a torque limiter with sufficient torque range and inner diameter range.

3. Due to the thickness of the center member between the friction plates, the correct axon length is determined. The choice of the axon cannot be greater than the thickness of the center member.
